Hari Raya Light Up 2023

" The annual Hari Raya Light Up 2023 @ Geylang Serai, street lightings and decorations along Geylang Road and Sims Avenue will be launched on 17 March 2023 during the Hari Raya Light Up Launch show. Carrying the theme “Masyarakat Gemilang – Community of Success”, it aims to symbolise how the Malay / Muslim community has thrived as a community together, recovering from disruptions caused by the pandemic, by demonstrating the 3 Cs – Competency, Character, and Citizenry.

The streets and buildings in Geylang Serai will be brightened up with motifs incorporating elements of crescent moon and stars, oil lamps (lampu colok) and colourful and vibrant flowers to represent a new beginning, growth, and hope. The beautiful streetlights will be up till 30 April 2023.."
